It features a cool mountain setting, manicured Bermuda greens, elevated tees, numerous bunkers and three lakes. Challenge yourself on front nine as you experience elevation changes. After reaching the crescendo, all you see is a clear blue ocean, swaying palm trees and a panoramic view from Keauhou to Kona. Take a moment on our par 3, hole #5 and #14. Both holes feature exotic drops from tee to green. Hole 14 is the highest point of the course and is the most picturesque hole. There is a waterfall surrounded by red bougainvillea and black lava rock, scenic lake and miles of ocean as far as the eye can see.
The Mountain Course at Kona Country Club is enriched in Hawaiian culture. This area was a favorite playground for Hawaiian royalties known as Alii.
