White Pine National Golf Course Michigan

Many golfers would agree that if you are going to put the word "national" anywhere in the name of your course, it had better be special -- as in Augusta National, etc. White Pine National is a Spruce golf course that is a big-time championship layout. Undulating greens, well-placed bunkers, and endless tall pines enhance the 6,742 yard course. From the back, or Black tees, the course rating is a hefty 73.0. The par 72 layout has a slope of 127. The architects were Bruce and Clem Wolfrom, and the course opened in 1993.

Do you find that your fear of water hazards detracts from your experience? Then play White Pine National. The only water you'll find will be streaming from the coolers. One reviewer said it was his favorite course, not only in Michigan, but in the U.S. Another commented on how spectacular holes 12 and 13 are. Unique at White Pine National is a 44,000 sq ft practice putting course. Practice greens and tees are all bent grass. The pro shop is first-class as well. The Hubbard Lake Roadhouse serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to golfers and non-golfers alike. This is one of the golf courses in Spruce, Michigan that you'll probably want to come back to. Discount Michigan tee times here make it even better.
