Seneca Golf Course Ohio

Seneca is a Broadview Heights golf course with 36 holes to offer. The "B" Course, sometimes referred to as Seneca 2, is a healthy 6,639 yards long from the tips. This is one of the classic public golf courses in Ohio that includes rolling terrain, tree-lined fairways, bunkers, and water. The par 71 layout includes a couple of big par fives. The 3rd hole can stretch to 583 yards, and the 15th can play as long as 568 yards. Cleveland MetroParks has now added a fourth set of "family" tees to the layout.

The B course at Seneca first opened back in 1940. Today, it has a slope of 122 and a course rating of 71.3. Considering that both the fairways and the greens are bent grass, the rates here are quite reasonable, especially if you can get Broadview Heights tee time deals here.

The pro shop here is run by a PGA professional. The course offers practice facilities. food, and beverages. Seneca has hosted a tour event in the past, the Carling Open Invitational. In 1959, it was won by Dow Finsterwald, and Arnold Palmer competed. Jack Nicklaus competed here as an amateur, and Billy Casper also entered the Carling Open.
