Marsh Ridge Golf Course Traverse City

Marsh Ridge is a Gaylord golf course that is part of a great collection of golf courses in Michigan that attracts intrepid golfers to the northern part of the state. Mike Husby designed Marsh Ridge golf course prior to its debut in 1992. The par 72 championship test is 6,231 yards long from the back tees. Despite its short length, this popular place for Gaylord tee time deals still sports some good ratings. The course rating from the USGA is 71.2, and the slope is a very respectable 132.

The course is just north of Otsego Lake and the State Park of the same name. The course is aptly named, because it offers a unique mix of protected marshlands and elevation changes. This mix of features makes for a great resort golf experience. Dense groves of trees, sprawling bunkers, and water hazards add to both the aesthetics and the overall test of golf skills. Resort-style amenities add to the pleasures of the experience at Marsh Ridge. Enjoy the driving range, short game area, and putting green.
