Marion Lake Club North Carolina

The Marion Lake Club is a Nebo golf course that is one of the best golf courses in North Carolina to play if you like historic and scenic layouts. This one dates all the way back to 1923, when it was designed by famed architect Russell Breeden. Today, the course measures 6,390 yards from the tips, and it plays to a par 70. The course carries a slope of 126 from the longest tees, and the USGA course rating is 70.4. At Marion Lake, Bermuda fairways lead up to Bentgrass greens. A bonus here is the scenery. Panoramic views of the Linville Gorge and also of Shortoff Mountain are a part of a round here.

The course offers a practice facility including a range, short game area, and putting green. The pro shop offers the latest in name brand apparel and equipment. Slices Bistro offers a nice selection of wines and beers. The menu includes appetizers like wings and nachos. Philly cheese steak subs, burgers, and grilled shrimp dinners are among the items available. Tee times in Nebo at Marion Lake will get you a golf experience that is at once historic, scenic, and challenging. The course is conveniently located within five miles of I-40.
