Named after the 32nd President of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Club was established in 1940. The fairways are wide providing generous landing areas, and the greens are of average size and well-bunkered. In addition to natural wetlands, a canal runs through the course and crosses the fairway of the 420-yard signature 10th hole. Overall, water hazards can come into play on a total of ten holes. The course features views of the Philadelphia skyline that can serve as a backdrop on many shots. Long ranked a favorite among the locals, FDR offers a refreshing escape from nearby metropolitan Philadelphia.
