Abercrombie Country Club tee times
As Nova Scotia's best kept golf secret, Abercrombie offers a full service 18 Hole Championship layout that is nestled amongst Pictou County's beautiful wooded landscape and conveniently located minutes off Highway 104 and 15 minutes from the NS-PEI ferry.
Originally built as a nine-hole course on the Cook farm in 1919, Abercrombie has progressed over its eighty-five years to become one of Nova Scotia's best tests of golf. In the late sixties the course was expanded to an eighteen-hole layout, incorporating many of the original, more open holes with the newer holes.
The Abercrombie Golf Course has played host to many prestigious tournaments in the recent past, on both the provincial and national scenes. The 1989 Canadian Junior Girls Championship and the 1997 Canadian Seniors Championship were held at Abercrombie. The club has also hosted several charity golf tournaments, most notably the Peter Gzowski Literacy Tournament and the annual Scott Weeks Celebrity Tournament, which attracts many professional sport celebrities who participate for a worthy cause.
