About Putnam National Golf Club
Mahopac,NY
Formerly know as The Country Club at Lake MacGregor, Putnam National is located in the lower Hudson Valley and features an 18-hole championship course designed by William Follet Mitchell. Originally constructed in 1955 as a private course, Putnam National is currently open to the public as a semi-private, daily-fee course. This course has a traditional design, with high rough and tough, rolling, tree-lined fairways. Water comes into play on three holes. The greens are small, undulating, and moderate in speed. This course features three sets of tees and plays from 5,789 to 6,779-yards. Carts are required on weekends and holidays.
